The 5 mandatory principles
Thank you for all the birthday wishes.
I pray that you would have an incredible year full of grace in Jesus. Being 29 now definitely makes me a feel a bit older but hey I have at least 7 more decades left here on earth
I wanted to share a brief teaching, my life essentially evolves around those simple principles which have become mandatory in my life, actualized through daily fellowship with God and I pray this blesses you
This impresses God more than so much of the hyped-up spirituality in our day. Years ago God promised me, that if I live as an overcomer He will give me authority over nations. Alone in the last few years I’ve seen tens of thousands come to Christ, churches birthed from scratch, and notable miracles have been a common occurrence in my ministry. Besides I’ve seen many people that I’ve personally walked with grow up into spiritual maturity and move closer to their destinies in Christ. Glory to God as this is entirely Gods doing, what i am saying is that living a life of purity will help you to have a sharp mind to access Gods wisdom, resources, and follow His ways.
More than half of the church can’t live in victory over sin; if you can’t live in victory don’t ever use a concept of grace to make it easier on yourself; humble yourself and hang around a true man of God long enough, and you too will win. There is definitely a reward for staying away from foolishness.
“Be holy, for I am holy....if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is gracious.”
1 Peter 1:16-2:3
Being a student of the Word of God is an essential part of how someone can actually have a real relationship with God. You can’t have a solid relationship with God if you are not a student of the Word. I have met a lot of flaky Christians, they are all excited and when a storm hits them they don’t know what to do. They call not walking in the Spirit vulnerability now - that’s the popular phrase, it has an appearance of humility but I can see right through it, it’s for most part a poor counterfeit of godly transparency and is a subtle refusal to live a crucified life. You can’t really “know” God apart from knowing His Word. Don’t ever get bored with the Word of God.
A strong inward man is the result of feeding on His Word continuously, allowing it to challenge you, mold you, let it cut where it may, and when you need it you will know how to put it to use. Yes, Faith still works as it always did. You are not a victim, you are a victor.
Smith Wigglesworth knew that. The philosophies of Freud, Darwin, Jung, etc. and other enemies of the Lord Jesus Christ have infiltrated the church, seeking to rob ministry leaders of confidence in the power of Gods Word to transform lives. Those foxes made the Word of God of no affect through their man made traditions, and behind all of it is the devil himself attempting to introduce “another gospel”.
“Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ.”
“For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith”
1. John 5:4
*Walking in love...
Keeping a sharp focus on the reality that Jesus didn’t come to condemn, He came to save, He didn’t came to hurt people, He came to heal people, He didn’t come to put burdens on people, but to lift people, He is the good guy, not the bad guy, He is up, and not down, He is full of life, and not depressed. That’s one of the reasons why I pray more than the people I minister to who are hurting, that is why I’m in the Word more then the people God has privileged me to minister, thats why I’m up earlier going after God than the average Christian, that’s why I bounce back faster from discouragement than most people, because I’m “up and wide awake”, I’ve been given the gift by God - for the sake of others and I want to put it to use, set the captives free and pull people into their potential in God. All that is needed is being full of the Holy Ghost and living a disciplined life.
We must always walk in love, even when it doesn’t seem easy, keeping our eyes on the life and ministry of Jesus
“His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.”
2 Peter 1:3
You can’t just decide to „feel“ accomplished, or blessed, or powerful. What you can do is decide a focus, and your focus creates a feeling. Routine is what helps to maintain focus. Essentially, our focus determines our choices, and our choices give direction to where we are headed and hard work makes us feel accomplished in a healthy way.
“You will keep him in perfect peace,
Whose mind is stayed on You,
Because he trusts in You.”
Leading people to Jesus, strengthen your brothers and sisters in Christ, and give dollars/euros to missions; soul winning is a conviction that stems from the heart of Jesus which must never be neglected. The Apostles, in it’s original sense an extremely consecrated company who met Jesus personally were thinking and breathing harvest & pioneering missions, they preached Jesus, called sinners to repentance and had notable miracles following in their ministries, constantly seeking to break open and win ground for the furtherance of the gospel.
Jesus came to seek and to save that which was lost. If our understanding of our life’s purpose here on earth doesn’t involve an emphasis on bringing people to Christ, than we are misguided.
“And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs. Amen.”
Philipp J. Schmerold
